I hope you have been able to enjoy your long weekend in your favorite ways. The weather has mostly cooperated, dry and sunny gets my vote even if it is a bit cool - eight muddy dog paws makes for a full time job on those soggy days...just like our kindies, if there's a puddle within a mile the dogs will find it! The weather forecasters have us in for quite a mixed bag this week so please be sure there are indoor shoes and outdoor shoes (boots even) to help keep our carpets and class stay as clean as we can not just for aesthetics but because we sit on our floors during activity times to play.
Thank you as always to our valued volunteers! As always the new month brings a new leader/activity calendar so a big thank you to our grade parents for getting it organized and out to you! Many thanks to everyone for keeping them up to date on vacations and birthdays so our in class days go smoothly! Every little bit helps!
We had a great Sharing Assembly with Ms. McGee and look forward to our next - Thursday, April 26. This week we will be visiting the "Mabel's Fables" book fair in Ms. McGee's library so no books will be exchanged. Children may hand in a book but will not have access to new ones so the green library bags will stay in the class. This is a new format for book fair, so we'll have to see how it goes but as always you are under no obligation to buy - participate as much or as little as you choose. Tuesday we will all go and have a LOOK only, no cash needed. Thursday will be purchasing day and you may enclose credit card information or cash but please BE SURE TO LABEL any cash you send.
Many thanks!
Our week looks like this :
Tuesday - Music, Mystery Reader AM, Book Fair visit to look, gym
Wednesday - Reading Buddies
Thursday - Book Fair visit to purchase, gym
Friday - Mystery Reader PM
Have a great week!
Ms. I.
