Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and am looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Just a few reminders to help get back in the school routine...if your child took home their indoor shoes for the break please be sure to send them back. Outdoor play clothes are essential as we do our best to get outside every day. Please be sure your child has snowpants and boots!
Ms McGee has arranged an author visit for us this week with author Frieda Wishinsky.
Ms. Wishinsky lives in Toronto and writes books for all ages. We have "Oonga Boonga" and "Jennifer Jones Won't Leave Me Alone" in the class, both of which the children enjoy. You can look her up on her own website for more information. Note - The morning class will not have a chance to choose new library books because of the special visit.
This week:
Monday - Welcome back! PM Library
Tuesday - Mystery Readers 10:55/2:45
Wednesday - AM Reading Buddies, PM Computers
Thursday - Author Frieda Wishinsky visits with both AM and PM classes (AM no new books)
Friday - Scholastic Orders Due, AM Computers, PM Reading Buddies
Have a great week!
Ms. I.
