These are busy days coming with a sharing assembly, Chinese New Year, Groundhog Day, 100th Day, and Valentine's Day all in a span of two weeks. Our 100th Day celebration will be on Monday, February 10 which is actually the 100 th day of school, however, your child's collection should come to school on Friday, February 7 so we have some opportunity to discuss them. A note regarding collections will come home in your child's mailbag this week.
Junior Kindergarten students will be receiving a report this term, to come home Monday, February 10. Your kindergarten teachers will be holding an open house morning to allow parents of both JK and SK students to come in, look around and informally chat about their child. More details to come!
JK parents are invited to the Parent Council meeting on Monday, January 20, to hear/ask about Full Day Kindergarten - coming September 2014. Questions begin at 6:15 followed by a presentation on smartboards by Mr. Kuru and Mr. Littlejohn.
This month we celebrate the character trait of Teamwork at our sharing assembly. Certificates will be presented to Abby and Jack in the morning and Scott in the afternoon for their great demonstrations of Teamwork . Congratulations!
