Thanks as always to our valued volunteers. This week we honour all LKS volunteers on Wednesday morning with coffee and muffins! Feel free to come by the school for a treat if you have been one of our many volunteers over the year - and thank you, thank you!
Your child brought home a Terry Fox t-shirt order form this week. If you wish to purchase a shirt for your child for the September Terry Fox walk, this is your opportunity and the proceeds go towards our school's Terry Fox fundraising campaign! You can see the shirts before school (8:30-8:45) each morning this week. Final date for orders is Wednesday, June 22.
Ms. McGee would like you to know that library book circulation is now finished for the year. All books are due back in to the library this week. If your child has lost a book the replacement fee is $5.00 for a paperback and $10.00 for a hard cover. Your child will bring home a lost book notice if their account is not clear.
As well as exchanging books, Ms. McGee has been using the school ipad lab to teach the children to use Scratch Jr. And Pebble-Go - both of which the kids love! Scratch Jr. is a free app you can download for your own devices and Pebble-Go is a TDSB program any student can have access to at home by using "trillium" as both the user name and password. Something new to do over the summer holidays!
