Week of April 21 - 25

Thank you as always to our valued volunteers!  April has been a busy, busy month so far with lots of special activities from craft parties to wearing coloured shirts to show support for the multitude of causes that our students value.  This short week we support our earth by wearing green on Tuesday, Earth Day, and cleaning up around our schoolyard on Wednesday. Spring feels like it might actually be here and a little spring cleaning is always a good thing!

Springfest items/cash continues to come in; Friday is the deadline to make your contribution if you have not already.  Remember to speak to your grade parents or check your parent council emails if you are able to volunteer some time to the Springfest venture.

April's Sharing Assembly is this Friday.  We celebrate Laiken and Nicholas in the morning and Natalia and Dhevan in the afternoon for their cooperative spirit in the classroom. We recognize Rowan for  honesty as he was absent for the March assembly.  Well done! Looking forward to May, our next character trait will be integrity and we celebrate on May 30.

Senior Kindergarten Graduation day/ceremonies for Ms.I.'s class will take place on Tuesday, June 24.  This is still a school day for the juniors - they have front row seats to watch their friends graduate but parents of the seniors are invited into the class to celebrate with us towards the end of the morning or afternoon.  More details will follow!  The last day of school this year is Friday, June 27...where has the year gone...!
