Thank you as always to our volunteers! Just a reminder this will be the last week of mailbag book exchange. There is no need for volunteers nor will your child be bringing a book home from the classroom next week. Thanks in advance for getting all your books back in by Friday. A new set of books and regular borrow-a-book schedule (M-W-F) will begin again Monday, January 6.
Our Sharing Assembly this month is on December 19 at 9:00 and 12:35. We will celebrate the season with a selection of songs and recognize students Norah and Porter in the morning and Thomas in the afternoon for demonstrating kindness and caring in the classroom. The children are asked to wear a holiday hat of some kind - Santa hats, reindeer antlers etc - to add to the "cute factor" of the performance! Hope to see you there!
The Stonegate baskets are looking great - both classes have some thoughtful and useful gift ideas to show these families we care. If you haven't donated yet; we still have one more week to finish up. Once again, the morning class family is a single parent and 10 month old boy while the afternoon is mom, dad and 13 month old girl. Baskets will be collected for delivery Monday, December 16. What a great example of kindness and caring for the children to see, way to go!
