Thank you as always to our volunteers.
A big thank you to your wonderful grade parents for all they do. Particularly at this busy time of year, the time and commitment they give to keeping our classes organized and arranging the fun activities the children enjoy as well as the charitable efforts we engage in is so very appreciated. Well done! Having said that, thanks to all of you, the Stonegate baskets look amazing! They will be picked up for delivery Monday morning in case you still have something to donate. Our food collection - cans, boxes, bags etc of non- perishables will take place until Wednesday.
Special events this week include an AM and PM whole school carol singing session.
Career Day Dress Up is Tuesday. The children can wear anything that reflects what they might wish to be when they grow up. Sharing Assemblies will recognize Norah and Porter in the AM and Thomas in the PM for kindness and caring. As well, we ask the children to wear a Santa hat, antlers, elf hat etc for the assembly as we will be performing a few holiday songs for your enjoyment!
Little Readers will not be coming home this week but will begin again in January.
The morning class enjoyed their craft party Friday morning. Many thanks to Sara and Cynthia for so many great supplies and ideas. Many thanks also to our great in-class volunteers Shirley, Tara, Milena and Zoe for the hands on help. The crafts look great and will come home to you this week. The afternoon class is looking forward to crafts on Monday.
