Our first week in December, just a few notes...
Thank you as always to our volunteers! Remember to check your calendars, this being a short week will jog our school day cycle by one day beginning next week meaning library, computers etc all move by a day.
We still have a number of children wearing boots to school and having to leave them on as they don't have indoor shoes with them or in the class. Please make sure your child doesn't have to spend their class time in hot boots!
Our Stonegate baskets are coming along. This will be our last week to fill them as they are scheduled to be picked up Monday, December 10. Thank you to those who have already generously added something.
We are excited and looking forward to Vanessa Thomson's visit to share some music with the morning class this month. It's always wonderful to have guests share their expertise with the class - if you think your particular interest/talent would be fun and engaging to share with the children please let me know and we'll do our best to schedule a visit!
As noted last week, the sharing assembly will be Monday, December 17. If your child has a Santa hat, antler headband or other such festive headgear we encourage them to wear it for that day. No other specific dress is necessary.
Have a great week!
