Week of October 9 - 12

Last week went zipping by...we enjoyed having snuggle up and read books as well as a mystery reader, pajama day, book fair and Thanksgiving activities!  I sincerely hope everyone was able to have some fun and family time over the weekend.
We are working on fine motor control so that writing names,  numbers, and cutting is easier and more controlled leading to more accuracy.  Doing any and all of these activities at home provides practice and strengthens your child's hands making the tasks less daunting.   Playdough and puzzles are great for fine motor development too.  Thanks to Barb Busch for the awesome purple and green playdough in the class!
This week will be a busy one, short weeks always are - we will do our October pictures, make a paper-doll of ourselves, add to our poetry books as well as change our snuggle up books Tuesday and Friday and enjoy another mystery reader!
